​Fresh local installation of vBulletin 5.6.4. The post icons and the smilies are both showing as path images/icons and images/smilies instead of the expected core/images/icons and core/images/smilies. I found in this thread: https://forum.vbulletin.com/forum/vb...w-broken-image









If you have added additional Smilies, you would have to guarantee that their files are at /core/images/smilies or whatever subdirectory is specified in the smilie manager.






I did verify that all smilie and post icons are in the core/images/icons and core/images/smilies folders, but I do not find anywhere to specify a subdirectory in the post icon manager or the smilie manager.



I was able to manually fix the post icons by adding core/ in front of images/icons to make those work. This manual fix did not work on the smilies as it changed the path from /images/smilies/smile.png to images/smilies/core/images/smilies/smile.png.



Right now the only fix I see is to move all the smilies from core/images/smilies to images/smilies, but I am afraid it might break if it gets changed back to the core folder in an update.
